GW PATRIOTS BASEBALL
PRESEASON DEVELOPMENT 2027
PREPARATION • DEVELOPMENT • ACCOUNTABILITY
PRESEASON DEVELOPMENT
Preseason is the final development period leading into official spring baseball tryouts.
The structure of the 2027 preseason program is currently being developed. Training opportunities will be based on coaching availability, field and facility access, weather, and the needs of the players participating.
Specific programming, schedules, locations and participation information will be announced as details are finalized.
Baseball Development
Opportunities for hitting, throwing, defensive work and competitive baseball preparation as available.
Physical Preparation
Strength, movement, arm-care and physical preparation may be incorporated based on available training opportunities.
Spring Preparation
The goal is simple: give players opportunities to prepare themselves for the demands of spring baseball and official tryouts.
IMPORTANT
PRESEASON & SPRING TRYOUTS
Preseason participation is voluntary and separate from official GW Baseball tryouts.
Participation in preseason does not guarantee a roster spot, and choosing not to participate does not prevent an eligible GW student from trying out in the spring.
